Realme is preparing to break new ground in the smartphone world. According to a new rumor out of China, Realme is preparing to introduce its own 300W wired charging solution. This move shows how far the brand can go in charging technology. However, this is not the first time a Chinese device maker has showcased 300W charging technology, as Redmi announced its own 300W charging technology in February 2023.
How will Realme’s 300W fast charging technology change charging times?
Redmi’s 300W charging technology was claimed to be able to fully charge a 4,100 mAh battery in less than five minutes. However, no Redmi phone using this technology has been released since then. This could mean that Realme will follow a similar path. So, this technology may remain a “demonstration” and not be used in real devices for a while.
Realme is already quite ambitious in this field. Most recently, it offered the closest experience to 300W with 240W wired charging technology used in the GT5 and GT Neo 5 models. According to this new rumor, Realme’s upcoming GT7 Pro model will feature IP69-rated dust and water resistance and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, along with 300W charging technology.
Realme’s 300W charging technology is being hailed as a major innovation in the smartphone world. With this technology, phones will be fully charged in an incredibly short time. Even Realme’s 240W charging technology was highly appreciated by users. 300W charging technology is expected to increase this appreciation exponentially.
It is currently unknown when and on which devices Realme will use its new technology. What do you think? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
